How To Get A Job Fast As Hell

 @owenabbott

  • Apply to a  job, wait (1) day, then call.  Give them your first and last name. Tell them you submitted an application and that you’re very motivated to find [Enter field name] work. Let the conversation lead you wherever it takes. Be very polite. Say” thank you for your time, I’ll be looking forward to hearing back from you.” Rinse, repeat. This is to force them to be looking out for your application.

  •  When you get to the interview, shake their hand firmly,  tell them your first and last name.

  • Describe your experiences  as “ two years transcription and data entry” if you have a desk job interview and “ [however many years]  costumer service, retail and stock” for your retail jobs.

  • Don’t use job “ buzz words” I stg they hear them all day. Say  things like, “ I’m detail oriented and am very good at taking instruction.”  “ I would like to work for a company with integrity and I feel that [ company name] would be a good fit”

  • When they ask you if you have “reliable transportation” say  YES. don’t tell them what kind of transportation, just say yes. (if you don’t do this, you wont get the job , I’m telling you right now).

  • Research the company. Know what they do, why they do it, how OLD the company is. WHERE it was founded, and what kind of position you’re intending to apply for.

  • When they ask you “ give us a situation where you had to blah blah blah” Make one the fuck up. Make yourself sound good as hell, and like you put your company’s needs slightly above the customer’s needs, but make the customer happy.

  • If they ask you about being outgoing, Say you “like to focus on your work so you can concentrate on doing things right” (which buys you out of having to act friendly all the time)

Questions for after the interview:

1.  Does this position offer upward mobility?

2. Do you enjoy working for the company? (if you’re not interviewing for a temp agency who will send you anywhere)

  •  Then, shake their hand,  Ask them to repeat their name (REMEMBER THIS) say thank you for your time, wish them a nice day and leave. write their name down outside if you have to, just remember the fuck out of it.
  • AFTER your interview, send a card directed to the name of the person who interviewed you (I’ll give you them) that says “Thank you for the interview, I appreciate the opportunity. have a great day” This shows  that you have an understanding of professionalism, and will have them thinking of you kindly (or at least remembering you) when they’re shuffling through the choices.
  • DO NOT tell them you just moved to the city over the phone.  In person, tell them you just moved to the city. Make it sound like the only reason you need a job is because you moved. Not because you’re desperate.

Article 13 is going into it’s final stages of voting.

If this gets through, it will allow many, many companies to abuse and misuse this article to take down as many memes, fan works, and even other independent creators on sites like YouTube, Facebook, and other websites INCLUDING Tumblr.

THE FAIR USE LAW AND SAFEHARBOR LAW WILL NO LONGER APPLY IN THE U.S OR IN OTHER COUNTRIES.

IT HAS ALREADY PASSED IN SEVERAL OTHER COUNTRIES.

WE CANNOT ALLOW THEM TO TAKE AWAY WHAT WE BUILT FOR THE INTERNET SO FAR.

So here is what you need to do to drag this article down.

1. Spread the word

I can’t stress this enough. The more attention this gets the more people we can get to take this down.

2. Make your own content

Make your own content on the matter and make sure it is clear to others that Article 13 is bad for every internet user involved.

3. If you live anywhere in Europe, contact your MEPs

Ask them if they approve of the article and why. If they do approve of it, try to convince them in a clear, reasonable, and most sensible way possible that this law is BAD.

The article itself is way to vague about what it’s conveying to its people.

Saying that as long as the use of said internet memes or content is good as long as it’s in “good faith.”

We cannot let some shoddy government tell us what we can and cannot post.

FREE SPEECH IS A HUMAN RIGHT. NOT A PRIVILEGE.

Here’s a video on Article 13 that Film Theory made on the matter. It will explain things better than I can.

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=GbXHrj8k7dg

THE VIDEO LINKED IS FROM YESTERDAY (24/11 2018) THIS IS ALL FRESH PLEASE SPREAD!

To my fellow ‘mericans that don’t understand Article 13 and why it’s important, watch the video. MatPat breaks is down in a very easy way to understand why it’s important and why it will affect all of us. You might think “naw, I’m not in the EU, doesn’t matter to me” (which is a crappy way of looking at it in the first place) but guess what, it will.

Also, I feel like people are pushing the importance of this to memes, but honestly it goes SO well beyond that.

Today’s problem

what do chairs for dragons look like.

big comfy piles of pillows

Well, that don’t work in the scene I’m doing it’s too cute not to draw.

image

DAWWW SO CUTE :>

image

they use human chairs but really badly

same

Wait elongated chairs y’all. Eight chair legs instead of one, they can lie down majestically and put their chins on the table like they were always meant to.

@basiliskfree

image

I’m not sure if this is silly or a good idea lol

image

it’s not polite!

you’re a dragon manners mean jackshit nothing

excuse you dragons are pillars of nobility and composure

you’re a dragon. who’s gonna stop you? hmm? the dragon politeness upkeep taskforce?

I mean other dragons are really the only thing a dragon fears

Date a dragon who uses big comfy piles of pillows as chairs

Date a dragon who tries to use chairs for humans but has trouble

Date a dragon who uses elongated chairs made just for dragons

Date a dragon who is a pillar of nobility and composure

Date a dragon who rests their chin on the table

I love this post way too much not to reblog it.

AaaaAAAAAAAAAA

The cutest damn things Ive ever seen

@basiliskfree @noivern

I just lay on the floor. Maybe with something soft under me.

If I don’t reblog the dragon chair post, assume I’m dead.

Wow

This. This is why I come to this site. Random and serious discussions about furniture and social codes relating to said furniture for dragons.

Summary: Jacob told her, what he wants to do with her.

My first fight against went well. They didn’t kill me. Before and after the fight I had some time to walk around in the arena. But then he locked me up again. It was a few days ago.

He was standing right in front of me. Looking down at me.

“Do you want something from me or do you just continue starring at me?” I asked him. I looked back at him.

“Your training starts today”, he just said. He seems so motivated then I was happy about it.

“So, I can become your little doll. Fighting against the good people here. It would be great for you and your little cult. The deputy who came here to free this country, joined the cult. Everyone would join you and those who don’t will be more scared then ever”, I tried to understand his plans with the first thing that came into my mind and wasn’t so far away from reality.

“That’s just a coincidence we take advantage of. But I just want to make a good soldier. I want to make a soldier who is unpredictable but still loyal to me. You see, every soldier I have, would do everything I command them. Not because they trust me, because they trust the father. My brother. So, they do what I say”, he explained, and I had the feeling I missed a point or something.

“But why me? You have enough people captured here. Everyone could do that”, I just said, without thinking it through.

“It has to be you. Because you don’t believe in my brother”, he answered, and I understood. He wanted something that’s his. Something he didn’t have share.

I just continued looking at him. I said nothing. I couldn’t think of anything to say. Then he grabbed my arm. He through me out of the cage onto the ground.

“Now move!” he commanded and pointed in the direction of the arena.

“Hell no!” I refused. It didn’t take me long to regret these words. Because a moment later I had his fist in my face. For the first time, since I was here, I learned how strong he was. My nose was bleeding and I had the feeling the print of his fist in my face.

I stood up. I didn’t say anything nor looked at him. I started moving.
